Our appointments are made at 15-minute intervals. Please let the receptionist know if you will be requiring a long or brief consultation as this will assist them to schedule patients to avoid extended waiting periods.
Scripts and Repeat Referrals
All requests for scripts or repeat referrals require an appointment with the Doctor. Please allow a minimum of 5 working days before the expiry of your script or referral to schedule the appointment. Please note that during peak periods (eg leading up to Public Holidays and Long Weekends), there may be longer lead times required to secure an appointment with the Doctor.
After-Hours
When the surgery is closed the National Home Doctor Service is available by calling 137 425 to help you access after-hours care. Their operating hours are from 6.00 pm to Midnight and Midnight to 8.00 am Monday to Friday and 12.00pm Saturday to Midnight Sunday. For any emergencies please go to Nambour General Hospital, Hospital Road, Nambour.
Telephone Calls
To protect the Doctors’ and patients’ time during booked appointments, most queries from patients to their doctor will be scheduled for a call back from the Doctor at an opportune time and triaged according to urgency. Any advice provided by the doctor is considered a phone consult and fees may apply. Medical advice can only be provided by a medical professional.
