Dr Gayani Abeyratne FRACGP, MBBS, DCH

Dr Gayani (gay-a-nee) Abeyratne completed her MBBS in 1997 in Sri Lanka and moved to Queensland Australia in 2007 with her family. Dr Gayani has been a much loved GP at Yandina Medical Clinic since 2014. Dr Gayani has an interest in Women’s health from childhood to post menopause and also in the healthcare needs of all children and has completed her Diploma of Children’s Health. Dr Gayani is currently accepting women and children as new patients.

Dr Noman Unar MBBS

Dr Noman (no-man) Unar (you-na) completed his MBBS in 2000 in Pakistan and moved to Canberra in 2007 and worked in the Canberra Hospital for 5 years and then moved to North Queensland in 2012. He spent 5 years in North Qld practicing as a GP in Townsville and Ayr before moving to the Sunshine Coast with his family. He commenced practice at Yandina Medical Clinic in 2017. Dr Noman is particularly interested in chronic disease management, men’s health, children’s health, mental health and employment medicine.

Dr Ronda Gurney FRACGP, FACRRM, M Clin Ed

Dr Ronda trained and practiced Medicine in South Africa before moving to Tasmania in 2008 where she spent 10 years at the southern-most GP in Australia at Dover. After completing her fellowship through the RACGP Regional Vocational Training School she commenced working with RVTS as a medical educator alongside practicing as a GP. Ronda is now Director of Training with RVTS when she is not at Yandina Medical Clinic. Dr Ronda is interested in all aspects of community health, preventative medicine as well as insertion and removal of Implanon.
